Food Allergy Friendly Brownies…Wish I’d Never Found These
Just back from my trip to Whole Foods Paycheck, and I have to tell you about these allergy friendly brownies called “The Brownie” Hey, they don’t need an original name because they have what it takes to make an allergy mom happy:
1) Free of gluten, egg, milk, nut and peanut
2) Individually wrapped: great for lunches, travel, snacks for in the car, purse, diaper bag
3) Delicious! Dense, dark chocolate with chocolate chips
One of these brownies is really enough for two people. (if the first one had self-discipline.)
Personally, I wrap the other half in a zip lock bag (I have one sitting here now) and it usually lasts in there from 1 to 5 minutes until I eat the other half. I try.
So I get these from Whole Foods in the Bakery department where they keep the gluten free bakery items.
They’re made by Cookies for me? and you can buy them from their website. I just noticed that you can buy these brownies in a mini version. Guess what I’ll be having for the holidays?

I got these at Whole Foods in Pittsburgh but I did notice that you can order them from the website or I’d ask your local Whole Foods. They’re pretty good about that.

In the baking section, they have a line of gluten free boxed mixes. I haven’t tried the brownie, but the muffin mix is great! My daughter is allergic to dairy and wheat, and doesn’t like chocolate, so these are excellent. I find them to be nicer in texture than some other mixes.
