Money Saving Tips for Food Allergy Moms
I’ve been hearing more and more about how expensive it is to buy some of the specialty products that we need to feed our children who have food allergies so I’m going to pass along money saving tips as I come across them. And if you have any money saving tips (coupons, rebates, recipes etc) for life in the food allergy world, please email us. I’d be happy to share them.
The Center for Anaphylactic Support, sponsored by Dey Pharmaceuticals, has money saving offers including $5 off when you sign up for their automatic renewal program.
The Center for Anaphylactic Support (CAS) at EpiPen.com has a lot to offer those suffering from severe food allergies. Resources include a searchable selection of allergy-friendly recipes, useful information about living with severe allergic allergies, an extensive list of resource links, discount offers, and more. One of the most important CAS features is the refill reminder program.
When you register your EpiPen Auto-Injector's lot # and expiration date CAS sends you a reminder when it's time to refill your prescription. In addition, for those eligible, CAS provides pharmacy checks to use towards your co-pay. Register to access these services at www.Epipen.com/cas.

I found a website called www.BeFreeForMe.com They have coupon offers for people with food allergies. However, I have to say I haven’t tried the coupons yet!
Also, I think the main way to save money is to prepare much of your own food. Even with GF breads, it is much cheaper to buy individual flours and then make your bread mixes. Prepared GF foods are very expensive, so if you can start to make your own treats and meals, it will save a lot of money!
