What’s in your bottled water?

We’ve been reading labels for years but generally, bottled waters, even if flavored have been a “safe” drink for my son. Now I need to think twice.

I’ve had a few moms write to me about Special K Protein Water and as you can see from the list of ingredients it contains MILK!

Ingredients
WATER, CONTAINS TWO PERCENT OR LESS OF SUGAR, POLYDEXTROSE, WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE….

Allergen Information
CONTAINS A MILK INGREDIENT.

I’ve also noticed other bottle waters that contain a variety of ingredients including the dreaded “natural flavors.” This one contains caffeine!

Aquafina Alive Energize has caffeine–as much as a cup of coffee!

As always, read the labels!

Crazy. I just read the back of an Aveeno baby shampoo (for “sensitive skin”) and found wheat on the list. Wheat!!! Hey folks - it’s not a meal, it’s shampoo.
