Valentine’s Day Edible Roses? (peanut free!)

It can be a challenge for those of us with children who have a peanut allergy or multiple food allergies to find fun candy novelties. Even when the ingredient list looks safe, the treat will often get put back on the shelf when you read the “may contains” or “processed in a facility” warning.

We came up with several cute food allergy friendly (and peanut free) treats for the holidays. These roses were a favorite.
They take just minutes to make (and eat) !

Edible Roses

Red Fruit Roll Ups
Green Lollipop Sticks

Fold the fruit roll up in half. Press one end of it into the stick tightly. Roll the rest of it around loosely, pulling gently away from the center to create look of a rose. Pinch the ends into the bottom to secure. Enjoy!
