Food Allergy Free Thanksgiving Menu!
Food allergies and big holiday meals and buffets can be challenging. But I can assure you that it can be done! Here are some recipes that we’ve used in the past and a few that I’m going to try this year. (Check all ingredients for your child’s particular food allergies.)
Here’s the menu!
Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
Fresh Baked Cornbread
Thanksgiving Turkey with Savory Stuffing
Or Cornbread and Wild Mushroom Stuffing
Homemade Turkey Gravy (or use a safe Gravy Mix )
Sweet Potatoes with brown sugar and crispy bacon
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes (Or, make mashed potatoes with safe margarine and rice milk or chicken broth. Rice milk has a milder flavor than soy milk.)
Roasted Broccoli with Lemon
Dessert Ideas:
Cybele Pascal’s Triple Chocolate Cupcakes
Pumpkin pie with
Toasted Coconut Crust or Coconut Crust
Non-Dairy Whipped Topping
My Kid’s Favorite “Turkey” Cookie!
Candy Corn Cookies

Nice to eat without hesitation of might getting allergies after savoring good meal. These recipes will ease my apprehensions. We can enjoy eating more having those recipes on our kitchen. Good job!
