Food Allergy Initiative gets Food Allergies on the Today Show!
Food Allergies will be the topic of discussion on the Today Show tomorrow!
If you are not already aware of the incredible advocacy and research supported by the Food Allergy Initiative, take a look here.
Once again, we are grateful to FAI and especially tireless volunteer and food allergy advocate Stephanie Winston Wolkoff for getting the attention of the Today show!
The Food Allergy Initiative worked with the Today show producers for the appropriate contacts including Dr Hugh Sampson, teen Jacquie Corba of Greenwich, CT and parents Paul and Catrina VonderMeulen who will bravely tell the story of their daughter Emily’s fatal anaphylaxis due to a peanut allergy 18 months ago.
Tomorrow, Thursday, October 25, 2007, the Today Show on NBC will air an important food allergy story reported by Today news anchor Ann Curry. As of this afternoon, the story is scheduled to air at 10:12 a.m. tomorrow, but with live television, is always subject to change. We wanted you to be aware of this Today story if case you would like to tune in or record the segment.
If you have friends, relatives, neighbors, or teachers in your life who dont yet “get it”, this will be a segment to watch!
