Food Allergies and Reflux

If your baby has reflux and other food allergy symptoms like eczema, read on…

” I believe the connection is strong enough that all babies with reflux should be screened for milk allergy by looking for symptoms (such as diarrhea, constipation, runny nose, eczema, or other rashes), by allergy testing, and/or by a trial of a cow's milk free diet.”

I couldn’t agree more. I can remember countless hours searching on the internet for clues to what could be causing my babys non-stop reflux. He had eczema too.

We would have saved my family many, many sleepless nights to have a diagnosis. It took until he was a year old and a nine hour drive to Mount Sinai to finally get a diagnosis. Once we removed all of the food allergens from his diet, he slept and the eczema disappeared too!
