Children’s Food Allergy from the Parents Perspective

This is an interesting article from a study in Sweden that explores how caregivers (mostly mothers) discover, manage and respond to the issues involving the care of children with food allergies. There are unique challenges to mothers of children with any type of disability and this article has a separate section on being a “good mother.” I am always inspired when meeting moms who go the extra mile for their special children–especially those who find a way to lend a hand to others!

If you are interested in the psycho/social affects of living with life threatening food allergies, you will enjoy this.
